As you all know, I am a HUGE fan of “Rock the Dress” sessions. Why? Because I think that everyone needs another opportunity to get all dressed up, look like the queen they are- grab your prince, and get to rock the dress out again. Here is just one from this past weekends session up at Sand Harbor. There are so many wonderful pictures to show you, it will be hard to narrow them down! Angela and Charles truly were fantastic to work with, and what a wonderful way to celebrate their first year anniversary!

A Beautiful South Lake Tahoe Wedding

I had my first wedding of the year this past Saturday up at Lake Tahoe at Edgewood. Even with the crazy weather we had that day (snowing one minute, sunny the next) Lauren and Chris were true rock stars and had an amazing day! I can’t wait to show you more images from their day, it was full of love and laughter and plenty of dancing!

You wouldn’t know it from the weather we have been having in Reno and Elko, but it is officially spring! Apparently ol’ man winter got the memo about snow in the mountains a few months late, but he’s making up for it now; however, I have confidence that our beautiful mountain spring is just a few weeks away. I have my first wedding of the season in a few weeks up at Edgewood Lake Tahoe and I’m thrilled. I truly have some of the most amazing couples this year and feel blessed to be capturing their love. Thank you to all of you, for helping me realize my dream and for letting me be a part of yours.

Laura + Enrique {Elko Engagement Photographers}

I was honored to go out to Elko a couple weeks ago for Laura and Enrique’s engagement session. We had an amazing time hanging out all afternoon in the canyon, sipping on hot coco and attempting to stay warm. (*side note here: it was cold…not just cold but COLD like take a few pictures and run back to the warm car to keep from getting hypothermia cold). Laura and Enrique were complete troopers about it though! I love winter lighting- there is something so romantic about it, the cool grey blue tones are so fun to work with. Laura and Enrique are some of the nicest people I’ve met, they are warm and caring towards each other and if you only spend 5mins with them you can see just how much they love each other and I was ecstatic to get to know them!

I am completely head over heels for “Rock the Dress Sessions”- fun, relaxed and always fabulous they are the perfect ~~excuse~~ reason to get dressed back up and rock some serious photographs. Kimberly and Cason were married at the beautiful Grove here in Reno this winter. I loved the stunning black and white theme they had with splashed of deep red, it worked perfectly with the cool winter light we had. I was thrilled to be part of thier special day! Rachel + Ross {Tahoe Wedding Photographer}

Oh my! where has time gone?!?! with the holidays over january flew by and now its almost valentines! I haven’t been very good about blogging recently, but I’ve been super busy with bridal fairs, albums and meeting up with my 2012 couples! There are so many wonderful and exciting things on the horizon and I couldn’t be more happy! In the spirit of catching up, I have gotten a chance to blog Rachel and Ross’s beautiful autumn wedding held up at the Tannenbaum on Mt. Rose. It was a beautiful day and Rachel and Ross had the most sweet and romantic ceremony overlooking the valley, surrounded by their closest family and friends. I loved Rachel’s bouquet and her wildflower themed center pieces, the fall colors were stunning and we had a chance to go up Mt Rose to finish up their portraits in the aspen stands. Rachel and Ross- thank you so much for allowing met to be part of your day!
